Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers is hard at work to ensure that students have meaningful experiences learning outdoors that inspire positive connections to nature.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, we will offer:
Family & Pandemic Partner Trail Days
Winter Outdoor Skills & Snowshoe Days
Outdoor Careers Internship (Grand Valley High School)
***In-person & Virtual Programming***
Together, we will work actively with teachers and administrators to provide programming that best serves the academic and personal need of students, staff, and families.
Group size will be strictly limited to 10 students.
Students will be issued with personal items when appropriate (e.g. journals) and when resources are shared (e.g. tools) staff will disinfect materials before and after use.
RFOV will not provide student transportation.
RFOV will offer programming only outdoors.
RFOV requires all students wear facemasks.
If you are a parent or educational professional who would like support in this upcoming academic year, our Young Stewards Program can provide assistance.
