Young Stewardship Education
We strongly believe that by connecting people to the place in which they live – by maintaining and creating trails, preserving unique ecosystems, and simply spending time outdoors – they will care for the place they care about.
Whether leading youth or adults, RFOV emphasizes the importance of land stewardship as the driving force for community action. Our programs offer visitors and residents alike an opportunity to challenge themselves, experience something new and enjoy time outdoors.
RFOV offers programs for students grades K-12, that thoughtfully connect lessons with age-appropriate stewardship projects, ranging from trail clean-ups & planting native seed, to engineering permanent structures like water drains or stone steps.
