The Young Stewards Program strives for equity in access to our unique brand of hands-on, place based learning. Check out our service learning page for additional information.
Cost
While donations are encouraged, the YSP offers programming at no cost to students or partners
Financial assistance is available for any tuition-based program

Gear
RFOV provides the gloves and tools necessary for a fun and successful day of stewardship. We can also supply healthy snacks for a project day upon request.
Collaboration
Working closely with local land managers, RFOV matches each group with age-appropriate projects in their community
Students are given an opportunity to discover and give back to outdoor spaces in their own “backyard”
Transportation
Transportation is provided whenever possible, allowing students to access and discover public land that may be otherwise out of reach.
RFOV may be able to assist to offset the cost of bussing/transportation
