Programs for Families
The journey to becoming a good steward can begin at any age! RFOV has a variety of programs suited for families with young children, with fun outdoor activities led by our experienced education staff.
Family-Friendly Community Projects
These projects, available throughout our season from May-October, have tasks and activities that are great fit for the whole family.
Activities might include planting, seeding, clean-up, mulching, weeding, trimming and more! Gloves, tools and thoughtful instruction are always provided.

Little Explorers Community Projects
Offered in conjunction with several community projects during the project season, this program is for our youngest students ages 4-8. While parents/guardians take part in the Community Project, RFOV Educators will lead students in structured nature play, activities and discovery tied to the theme of the day’s project
