Join the RFOV Rocks Team!

ROCK STRUCTURES ON LOCAL TRAILS

This training is an opportunity to enhance your restoration skills to increase impact on local trails and productivity on community projects.

Join us the evening of Thursday July 6 at Red Hill in Carbondale to learn about building retaining walls, rock steps, and safely breaking rocks to fit into slots.  Partnering with the Town of Carbondale and BLM, the RFOV team will cover proper selection of rocks, safely moving and placing rocks, and rock bar and pickmattock use and techniques.

Please come to meet other volunteers from across the Roaring Fork Valley.
As always, we’ll conclude with drinks as the sun sets.
