When the coronavirus pandemic worsened in early April, the team at Bank of Colorado’s Glenwood Springs office jumped into action. We recently spoke with Stephen Paul, Vice President of Bank of Colorado to understand what it takes to make sense of challenging times:
“It’s like we worked two months in April! Our motto at the bank is ‘There’s Only One’, and for us, that means there’s only one Glenwood Springs; so as a community, we’re all in this together. As soon as the federal government’s paycheck protection program became available, our bank officers reached out to local businesses. Not only have we been doing our best to provide financial relief for our business neighbors, we’ve made it a point to support downtown restaurants and their waitstaff as well. After all, our success as a bank is rooted in the success of our city. That’s why we identify with RFOV’s community-powered stewardship: we love using our valley’s trail network, so doing trail maintenance makes us proud to live in Glenwood Springs. The steps that we built on the Jess Weaver trail are still there and still working great, and that’s the kind of lasting impact that I hope our bank has too!
Thanks Bank of Colorado for your ongoing support! Stephen notes that the Bank of Colorado’s Glenwood Springs office remains accessible by phone and drive-through at 901 Grand Avenue.
