This month we're showcasing the diversity of our region, offering opportunities in alpine, forests, wetlands, and burn areas. We've got tree planting, reseeding, trail rebuilding, backpacking, and even childcare to offer you!
From the mountain peaks of the Maroon Bells to the fast-flowing creeks of the Roaring Fork watershed, we hope that you'll bring out the entire family to volunteer as we enjoy the beginning of summer together.

CHILDCARE AVAILABLE
To enable families with young children to get outdoors, we will be offering childcare for ages 4 - 8 at our June 25 volunteer project. Ben, RFOV's Education Director, will be leading fun, engaging, and age-appropriate nature learning activities!

We are so glad that Emily found RFOV through Osmia’s business volunteer days and decided to return for more. Her smiles and laughs have been a welcome addition to multiple May projects. Thanks for joining us again and again, Emily!
A MONTH IN A MOMENT
Through the combined efforts of RFOV volunteers and our partners RFMBA, Red Hill Council, Town of Carbondale, AVLT, the BLM and Backbone Media, we were able to successfully build and open a new downhill mountain bike trail at the Red Hill Trails Network. This new trail is named "C-Line" and is already on the kiosk maps.
The trail has minimal technical features and with its low gradient, it provides an easier downhill exit point for mountain bikers coming down Red Hill. Thank you to everyone who helped make this trail a reality!
