Now, more than ever, we’re thankful for the roof above our heads. We recently spoke with Trevor Cannon, owner of RFOV business sponsor Umbrella Roofing, to understand how he provides our community with that vital sense of security:
“There was no epiphany that caused me to become a roofer, though I did have a realization: our roof might only be part of a building, but we can still value all of our community! That’s the reason our core values are trust, courage, knowledge, time, and family-team-community. The trust I extend to employees demonstrates to our customers that they can believe in us as well. After all, experience matters in the roofing industry, and most of our employees have been with us for at least five years – 12 have been with us for more than a decade. We always take the long-term view, and I’d like to think the results speak for themselves. We built every RFTA station’s roof (they’ve now weathered 9 summers and winters) and we recently completed the Eagle County airport. I’m immensely proud that we can translate that sustained commercial success into community success as well. Along with our sponsorship of RFOV, we’ve donated 1% of annual revenue – $750,000 cumulatively – to local non-profits that help secure a better future for our region.
Thanks Trevor for your ongoing support! He reports that Umbrella Roofing has taken appropriate measures to continue working through pandemic restrictions, and can be reached at 970.704.9130.
