OCTOBER PROJECTS
This is the perfect time to enjoy fall colors and warm days all while getting outdoors with a purpose. Projects in Carbondale, Snowmass, Silt, and Rifle close out our season:
JOSH GRYZIEC
Josh is our September volunteer of the month: he's lively, he's inquisitive, and that's contagious for everyone! With his positive attitude for all things stewardship, RFOV staff always look forward to working with him at community projects. Thanks Josh!
Who will be our October Volunteer of the Month? It could be you!
A MONTH IN A MOMENT
In advance of winter, Marble Charter School has been working hard to prepare the town's historic mill site for the coming seasons. Students and staff recently joined RFOV for a day of wildflower seeding, both to beautify the landscape when they sprout next spring and to reduce the growth of invasive species.
Thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation of Gunnison Valley, we will be working closely with the school to increase stewardship lessons (in-school) and stewardship work (around town) during the '21-'22 academic year.
PLANNED GIVING
We are a community organization, and RFOV's continued success is built on decades of community support. There are many ways to ensure your contribution to stewardship makes a difference: by giving directly to RFOV or to our foundation partners. Contact Jennifer to learn more.
