September 2020

LEAVES ARE TURNING, BACK-TO-SCHOOL...oh, and pandemic and wildfire! It's been a Season to  Remember . Pictured above-left is a crew working with the Grizzly Creek Fire plume in the background; above-right, Carl, our Field Coordinator, models the satisfied smile of a day well done! Because, despite the uncertainties and challenges of Summer 2020, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers has maintained our mission: enhancing the community through stewardship of our shared outdoors. If you've had a busy summer, don't worry, you've still got two months to join us for some trailwork

What else is coming this September?

There's plenty to look forward to this autumn: we hope to see you soon, in-person or virtually!

Young Stewards Program this Semester

We're working hard to balance digital learning with non-digital outdoors education. For each school our Young Stewards Program will appear slightly different this semester – due to the variety of pandemic adaptations from Aspen to Parachute – but our core service (stewardship education) will be offered to students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
