BRINGING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH IMMENSE GRATITUDE

We were so inspired by the outpouring of support from our community this past year, particularly during the year-end giving season and through our Colorado Gives Day Campaign. Your support ensures our model of community-powered stewardship continues to unite our Roaring Fork and Colorado River Valleys in stewardship projects for years to come.

Thank You!

IN MEMORY OF BOB SORRELL

The RFOV community lost a dear friend with the passing of Bob Sorrell on December 12, 2022.  Bob was one of RFOV's most avid volunteers - always ready with a smile, a joke, or a topic of lively conversation.

Bob is pictured here receiving an award from Program Director, Melissa Daniels, for the 'Most Active Volunteer in 2022' at our end-of-season appreciation party.
We will miss Bob dearly!

Bob's family will hold a small memorial celebration in Aspen in the spring when his ashes will be spread over his beloved mountains. The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the US Forest Service in his name:
Forest Conservancy.com or at the Forest Conservancy office at 1012 Brookie Dr., Carbondale, CO 81623.
