GEARING UP FOR A GREAT PROJECT SEASON

RFOV's project season is almost here!

We know we're a little biased, but we think this upcoming project season will be our best one yet.  We have so many incredible things on the horizon - a new volunteer chainsaw sawyer crew, more community projects within our Healthy Landscapes realm, our largest seasonal staff crew ever, expansion of the Youth in Nature program, and new training for volunteers like you!

MEMBERS ENJOY EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

By becoming an RFOV member in 2023, you invest in the places you care about and join our region's ever-expanding culture of stewardship.

Members also benefit from priority registration on all projects, trainings, and programs for two weeks in the spring, prior to our project season announcement to the general public.

This year's member-exclusive preregistration will open March 20th.

Click HERE to learn more about membership impact and how your recurring or one-time gift, starting at just $25, can help sustain our stewardship momentum.

Volunteer Programs

VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP ROLES

The success of our projects relies on the amazing volunteer Crew Leaders and Project Ambassadors that join us every season!

If you would like to explore either of these volunteer opportunities, keep an eye out for the specialized trainings that will be offered for these roles when our project registration opens or reach out to our Program Director, Melissa Daniels, at mdaniels@rfov.org for more information.

GROUP PROJECTS & ADOPT-A-TRAIL

As RFOV ramps up for a busy 2023 Project Season, our calendar has already begun filling up with Group Project and Adopt-A-Trail days.

Would your business, nonprofit, faith group, or family be interested in joining RFOV for a tailored weekday stewardship opportunity to help our local land managers complete priority trail, restoration, and fire mitigation work?

If so, please contact our Program Coordinator, Jack Douglas, at jdouglas@rfov.org for scheduling and more information!
