February 2021

THIS WINTER, ROARING FORK OUTDOOR VOLUNTEERS LOOKS BACK TO THINK FORWARD – we're reviewing the successes and challenges of 2020 to plan for a productive 2021!

In February, we renew our commitment to community stewardship by joining with government and non-profit partners to plan an entire project season of outdoors volunteerism. We renew our commitment to community education by snowshoeing with students and welcoming new high school interns. And later this month, we renew our commitment to community leadership by publishing our new five year strategic plan.

The Future of RFOV

When RFOV debuts its new strategic plan this February, the most important part will come first: our mission, our vision, and our values.

As RFOV adapts to meet the evolving needs of our community, our strategic plan will clarify WHAT is important, WHY we have established certain priorities, and HOW we will achieve our goals in the next 5 years through a clear and inspiring vision.

In February, we'll publish the highlights of that plan. In March and April, you'll see the first effects of that strategic vision as we announce our Community and Group Events, including projects, hikes, and social opportunities.

Since 1995, we've been dedicated to community-powered stewardship. Thank you for your continued support!
