Help restore this important town park and riparian area for humans and wildlife to enjoy! We'll build on the work that volunteers like you have done over the past three years by planting native trees and plants, restoring critical habitats, and building trails throughout more areas of the preserve.
Little Explorers: Structured youth activities for students 4-8 while guardians volunteer
For students 8 and under; free; on-site; for all interested parents and guardians who would like to attend as volunteers
Offered for the first half of the project day - 9am-12:30 pm
Activities will include a scavenger hunt, coloring, building and art with natural materials, games, and structured nature play
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly .
Worksite Location: 1000 ft from parking lot on flat ground.
