In the 3rd year of Lake Christine Fire restoration efforts, RFOV will combine an educational hike and community project. Departing from Lake Christine itself, various educational modules will allow hiking groups the ability to engage with the landscape prior to arriving at the joint Colorado Parks & Wildlife and US Forest Service project site. Once having arrived, volunteers will help control invasive species that have colonized the post-fire landscape. Potential opportunities for reseeding of native species have yet-to-be-determined.

Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.

Waiver: All participants must complete a digital waiver (link will be emailed to you after registering).

Cancellation: Our outdoors need volunteers like you! However, if you register and cannot attend, please email info@rfov.org no less that 48 hours in-advance so that we can offer your slot to another participant.
