Have you ever wondered, "what is this extremely spiky plant in my yard and how do I get rid of it???" If so, RFOV formally invites you to come learn from several vegetation experts in our Invasive Species Identification and Management Training! Participants will learn how to identify common noxious weeds and invasive plants in our area, and how and when to best remove them so that they don’t come back! This training will include a classroom session on September 3rd and a field session on September 4th.

Time: This training will take place from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on September 3rd and from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on September 4th.

Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.

Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.

Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Worksite Location: This training will have a classroom portion that will be held at the Third St Center. The field portion of this training will take place at worksites that are between 0.5 and 2 miles away from the parking area that will require volunteers to traverse over densely vegetated and marshy terrain.
