Healthy Landscapes

Physically Moderate

Physically Strenuous

Filoha Meadows is home to the stream orchid, but these rare plants are being threatened by invasive Canada thistle and oxeye Daisy. You can take this opportunity to see an open space otherwise closed to the public, help us control an invasive species, protect a beautiful rare orchid, AND remove barbed wire fencing.

Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.

Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.

Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Worksite Location: This project will take place at worksites between 0.25 and 0.5 miles away from the parking area and will require volunteers to traverse over mostly flat terrain.
