First Aid & CPR Training

Physically Easy

RFOV is offering a basic First Aid & CPR course to the public! Michael Hutton, one of RFOV’s original founders, will be teaching this course at the Third Street Center in Carbondale. Participants are asked to complete an online course that costs $21.00 before their hands-on training session. You will receive a link to this course two weeks before the event.

There will be two training sessions on July 29 and 30, one from 4-6 pm and the other from 6-8 pm. Note: Michael can only accommodate 4 people max per hands-on session. Please pay close attention to which session you are signing up for.

Participants will be asked to pay for the online course and RFOV will cover the cost of the First Aid/CPR certification card.

Participants need to print off a "Certificate of Completion" BEFORE coming to meet with Michael to finish the course by "checking off" their skills with an instructor. Each person should either bring the Certificate of Completion with them or email it to info@rfov.org AHEAD of their Skills check-off session with Michael. If you haven't completed the online course or haven't printed off the Certificate of Completion, you can not attend a skills session.

Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.

You MUST complete the online First Aid and CPR course before attending the hands-on training! You will receive a link to this training two weeks before the hands-on session.

Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.

Cancellation: it takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org ONE WEEK in advance so we can plan accordingly (by July 9).

Public transportation: RFTA routes CC, L; stop: Carbondale Pool.

If the registrations below are full, please email info@rfov.org to be added to a waitlist.
