Join for one or both days of a weekend campout in Marble full of stewardship projects, learning opportunities, and plenty of time to just hang out. We'll work on trail and restoration projects at the in-town Marble Mill Site, the Marble Wetlands, and a nearby US Forest Service Trail TBD.
Special post-project and self-guided activities will be available prior to dinner provided by Slow Groovin' barbeque. Camping in town is available Friday and Saturday nights with pre-registration and a $50 refundable deposit. Breakfast is included for all campers.
When registering below, please make sure you are signing up for the correct day you are interested in. If you would like to come on both Saturday and Sunday, you will have to register for each separately. At the beginning of each day, volunteers will choose the site at which they want to volunteer. If you would like to camp on Friday and/or Saturday night at the in-town campground, please use the last two registration links to sign up for camping.
Deposit: $50, due at registration for camping (below). Your deposit will be refunded upon completion of the project, or with a cancellation before June 7.
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Waiver: All participants must complete a digital waiver (link will be emailed to you after registering).
Cancellation: it takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org two weeks in advance (June 7th) so we can plan accordingly and notify someone on the waitlist.
Worksite Location: This project will take place at worksites between 100 feet and 2 miles away from the parking area. The closest worksites will require volunteers to traverse over mostly flat ground. The most distant worksites will require volunteers to traverse over steep and rocky terrain.
