Help restore this important open space and riparian area for humans and wildlife to enjoy! We'll build on work that volunteers like you have done over the past four years by planting native trees and plants, battling the establishment of invasive plants, and maintaining trails throughout the preserve.
Little Explorers: Free, structured youth activities for students 4-8 while parents and guardians volunteer is offered at this project.
For students 8 and under; free; on-site; for all interested parents and guardians who would like to attend as volunteers
Offered for the first half of the project day - 9am-12:30 pm
Activities will include structured nature play and an introduction to stewardship
Registration: All participants of all ages must be registered individually.
Waiver: All participants must complete a waiver.
Cancellation: It takes a lot of staff and project partner time to plan and organize volunteer events. If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know by emailing info@rfov.org 48 hours in advance so we can plan accordingly .
Worksite Location: This project will take place at worksites between .25 - 1 mile away from the parking lot that will require volunteers to traverse over mostly flat ground.
