IN MY THREE MONTHS as the new Program Manager at RFOV it's been a joy to meet so many fun and enthusiastic members of our community: thank you to everyone who has joined us and passionately engaged in land stewardship!
As we open registration for events in the second-half of our season, RFOV is proud of the variety of projects we can offer you this summer. When we say that we'll offer something for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, we mean it. It's our busiest season ever here at RFOV and I'm incredibly excited for all the ways you can engage with our shared outdoors this year.
Let's meet outside!

NICK GROOS: VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH
The outdoors loves volunteers like Nick! Joining RFOV at our Grand Hogback and Sutey Ranch projects – as well as participating in Intro to Trail Building – Nick has raked, dug, and hoed his way into the record books (for May, that is!). Thank you Nick from everyone at RFOV.
Nick will receive a prize for his efforts. Who is our June Volunteer of the Month? It could be you!
Basalt Makes Bristlecone
RFOV will host 2 community projects in Basalt this summer: at Lake Christine and at the Ponderosa Trail. The support of Basalt's local businesses make these projects possible.
Bristlecone Mountain Sports gives to RFOV because we share a purpose: helping residents and visitors participate in our outdoors together. Thank you Bristlecone!

A Culture of Stewardship
This May we completed nearly 800 volunteer hours and worked with more than 450 volunteers!
Stewardship included federal, state, county, and municipal land managers, in addition to non-profits, businesses, and individuals like you.
Thank you!
